Mango Chili @ Nexus, Bangsar South

Mango Chili, a Thai restaurant located in Nexus, Bangsar South. I just discovered that Bangsar South, a place that is reachable with RM1 bus fare from my place, is a place full of nice restaurants. I will try more food here before I graduate. :D

Mango Chili is spacious and cozy, you can easily spot it due to its unique purple wall and a cute yellow tuktuk outside the restaurant (Thailand's representative vehicle).

I love those props with interesting quotes, they made our groupfie no longer boring hahaha!!

- FOOD FOR GOOD -

For every meal you purchase, Mango Chili will feed an underprivileged child. You have to eat no matter what, why don't support this meaningful project by just dining here? :)

Tom Yam Chicken Rice Noodle
RM 14.90

This is the type of Tom Yam I like, spicy, sour and full of fragrance. Generous amount of chicken meat, mushroom, and all the things needed for Tom Yam are inside the appetizing soup, it is hot and spicy but I could not stop myself from slurping the soup.

This is my first time to eat Tom Yam with rice noodles instead of bihun or rice. I thought it would be weird but it turned out to be not bad. :)

Green Curry Chicken
RM 14.90
Jasmine Rice
RM 2.00

This green curry is too sweet for my liking, I prefer Absolute Thai green curry. Still, generous amount of vegetables and chicken meat are inside green curry. Green curry is not served with rice, so we ordered jasmine rice to pair with it.

Tom Yam Fried Rice with Egg
RM 11.90

It is a nice fried rice to eat, not too oily and full of aroma. Keropok is still crispy and thai sauce is good!

Add RM 2.90 and you will get value set in which Tom Yam soup and salad are served.

However, the weird thing is the Tom Yam soup is different from Tom Yam soup with rice noodles, it is too sour and spicy so my friend requested to change it.

After all, it was an enjoyable meal. After paying bill, waitress reminded us that we have provided two meals to underprivileged child by dining here. Ermm, I felt good after hearing this. :)
