Strangers at 47

This cafe has a pretty special name, Strangers at 47. If you are wondering why is 47 but not other numbers, 47 actually is their doorplate. Strangers at 47 stands out from other mushrooming cafes at Section 17, Petaling Jaya by their specialty, CREPES.

Both indoor and outdoor seatings are available. Environment is cozy and spacious. Different type of seatings are available, you can come with only one BFF or a bunch of friends. You will feel comfortable even if you come alone.

I adore this corner with cute illustration and quote.

Red Apple & Red Dragonfruit Smooshie

This smooshie proved to be fresh with loads of real fruits pulps inside. However, it would be better if I could pour out all the pulps. Most of the fruit pulps stuck in the tiny bottle. Combination of apple and dragonfruit is refreshing and not too sweet.

It's Kelapa

Both savoury and sweet crepes are served here and I went for the sweet one. I love how they named these crepes, so funny and creative!

It's Kelapa is a orange crepe with pandan infused coconut custard inside, topping with shaved toasted coconut, orange caramel and vanilla ice cream. I actually did not realize that it is a orange flavored crepe, perhaps aroma of pandan and coconut overtook it. Pandan infused coconut custard has pleasant sweetness, it is not greasy. I wish it to be larger in portion as it is so good! Who knows that orange and kelapa can be good friends too? :)

Dark Side
RM 10.00

Dark side is a chocolate crepe with dark chocolate spread in between, white chocolate curls, orange caramel and vanilla ice cream as toppings. Orange caramel enhanced its taste with hint of sourness, so that this chocolate crepe is not too overwhelming with chocolate taste. Chocolate lover surely will like this 'dark side' of Strangers at 47.

Free warm water

I did not order any drink so the friendly and pretty waitress served me warm water in huge bottle. This bottle somehow looks like waste bottle in the lab. (side effect of entering lab so many times! ><)

Big Breakfast
RM 23.00

Wholemeal crepe is served with hash brown, a sunny side up, chicken chorizo, smoked chicken ham, butter sauteed portobello & spinach and caramelized onions with baked beans. My friend ordered this and she said all the components tasted good especially those in the tiny yellow bowl.

Toilet here is a special one. Special lock and door. Remember to visit their toilet if you come to Strangers at 47! :) (sound so weird?!)

Sweet crepes. Savoury crepes. Coffee. Hot Chocolate. Smooshie. That's it. With only 4 pages of menu (or only 3 pages??), Strangers at 47 still attracted many customers with their crepes. Do drop by if you wonder how good their crepes are.
