Wheee!! The first branch of Japan famous Nana's Green Tea finally launched in The Gardens, Mid Valley! Nana's Green Tea is the modern concept Japanese cafe that want to deliver green tea, matcha green tea, other Japanese foods that suit the modern lifestyle. Besides their famous green tea related desserts and beverage, there are other Japanese cuisines like udon and don as well. But that day I came to Nana's Green Tea just for dessert as I really love to eat dessert!
The simple yet classy menu
Matcha, the high quality fine powdered green tea is widely used in various Japanese foods especially desserts. Not only that matcha-containing foods are delicious, Matcha is good for health too since it contains antioxidants.
Matcha Kuromitsu Latte (cold)

My friend loved this so much! There is chemistry between matcha and latte! With the pleasant fragrance of matcha in latte, this drink is not too sweet but addictive. I want to drink more and more! I prefer it without whipped cream as the drink itself is already so yummy.

There are Matcha ice cream, red bean paste, mochi with plenty of red bean and kanten, the healthy japanese jelly which is tasteless. Brown sugar syrup is provided for you to pour over it if you want it to be sweeter. I have to say, the matcha ice cream tasted heavenly. It is so smooth, creamy and full of matcha fragrance. Matcha ice cream and red bean paste is prefect match! I think I can eat 10 scoops of matcha ice cream without getting tired of it! Oh no, I am craving for it now. ><
Matcha Shiratama Parfait

Ok, let's start from the bottom! First is a layer of kanten jelly with matcha syrup and then is the layer of vanila ice cream. On top of vanila ice cream, there are generous amount of cornflakes and scoop of matcha ice cream, red bean paste, mochi and whipping cream with matcha syrup on top of it. This parfait is a piece of art. It looks so pretty! Oh ya, it tastes yummy too! Oh no, nothing to complain about, it is just so yummy and I just love dessert so much! ><
The three of them with my pretty friend as background! :D The cafe has cute and cosy interior design. The dessert can be shared with others as it is quite big in portion. Do check it out if you are matcha lover, dessert lover, or you just want something to cheer you up! :D
