Soap gallery is a natural handmade soap company established in Johor, Malaysia. Besides natural handmade soap, Soap gallery sells other natural products as well, including skincare, body care, hair care, essential oils and DIY soap making tool kits. I am going to review one of their customized products, the Rose hip whitening moisturising lotion 美白保湿乳液 which is suitable for face and body as well.
They used plenty of natural ingredients in making this lotion. Who doesn't love natural products which are more gentle to our skin? :D Plus, for those who are against animal experimentation, their products are not tested on animals!
Again, this is just the sample size with humble packaging. However, the pleasant fragrance of those essential oils in it is attractive enough to tempt me to try it out!
Ingredients used:
- Rose hip oil
- Wheat germ oil
- Safflower oil
- Witch hazel dope
- Hyaluronic acid
- Areginine Essence
- Vitamin E
- Aloe vera gel
- Emulsifier
- Grape fruit essence oil
- Lavendar essence oil
Soap gallery has included rose hip oil and wheat germ oil in this lotion for the lotion to be similar to human skin sebum. Besides, for the water phase, rose water is used as it has skin-soothing effect and it smells good too! :) Aloe vera gel is added for its antibacterial, antifungal and skin-repairing properties. Its pleasant smell comes from the Lavendar and Grapefruit essence oil.
It is oily at first touch but really well absorbed after I applied it on my skin. It somehow calms my skin with all natural ingredients inside, my skin is more hydrated after I used it for a period. However, since preservatives are not added, this lotion can only last for 2 months.
For customized facial lotion like this lotion, it is about RM 40-60++ for 80g size, depending on the materials and essential oils used.
