Yes. I completed the Honda test drive with my fellow blogger friends, all the way to Batu Pahat! It was like a great achievement to me as I had never driven a big car before. This blog is a bit long, be patient to finish reading, otherwise you will be regret of not knowing the easy ways of winning Honda cars!
To commemorates Honda Malaysia's milestone of achieving 900,000 sales units in the third quarter of 2019, Honda Malaysia wants to reward Malaysians for their strong support for Honda Malayisa through the Road to 900,000th Unit Milestone Campaign. The more tickets collected, the higher the chance to win the Honda models. The first two activities are really easy that I do not see a reason of not joining this contest! By the way, I still cannot believe I drove Honda CR-V, HR-V and Honda Civic all in one day! For my driving experience, I only drive small-sized cars and I seldom go on highway. Driving Honda cars to Batu Pahat is definitely a whole-new experience to me and I like it!
For a newbie who is seldom on highway and long distance driving like me, I really like the most advanced safety technology of Honda, called Honda Sensing, a driver assist system. I am really amazed by these features as they really make driving a lot safer! Once you activate the ACC with LSF and LKAS system in Honda CR-V, you can keep a safe distance with the car in-front, by setting a fixed speed and automatically adjusts the CR-V speed when the car in-front changes speed. You no need to manually speed up or slow down. You can rest your foot like what I did, just let the car to do the magic! This can effectively reduce driver fatigue, which is one of the common cause of car accident on highway and long journey driving. LKAS can help to reduce chance of getting side collision, by keeping car in the centre of its lane.
Talking about Honda HR-V, it reminded me of the funny incident happened at IKEA. My family and I bought new cabinets from IKEA. When we wanted to put the boxes inside our car, we only realized they could not fit in. We tried a lot of different ways, by putting front passenger seat down or making the boxes go in the car from different directions, they just cannot fit! In the end, after so many attempts, we managed to bring them back home in our car, but with me holding them in weird position inside car all the way back home. This is really not advisable as it was super tiring and dangerous. If next time you want to bring IKEA furniture back home by yourself, I would definitely recommend you to drive Honda HR-V.
The seat inside can be adjusted to match different requirements, be it long item, tall item or large amount of items. Front passenger and rear seats can be folded, then the car will become a mini van to fit all your stuffs. It is really convenient and versatile!
I bet nobody likes to enter a car parking for long period under hot sun. It is literally no difference from pau in steamer. With Honda Civic's Remote Engine Start, you can easily start your car and cool your car before entering it. I personally think that this function is really suitable in a country like Malaysia.
