The community project which named “Light Up Happiness” was first launched by SDS in year 2019. Customers who order and enjoy any of the Christmas main dishes at SDS Café are encouraged to untie the surprise gift tied on the light strips which hung on Christmas tree, and bring home the small token. Upon the removal of gift from Christmas tree, the light bulb will become visible. After all gifts have been claimed, all light bulbs on the tree will become visible, signifying the happiness is lighted up. SDS has made initiative to bring a cake to orphanage with every lighted Christmas tree. Since the project has received overwhelming responses, SDS decided to restart the project in this Christmas.
“We hope everyone we love can live out the true meaning of Christmas,” said Ms. Denise, Marketing Manager of SDS.
“We know children love Christmas, and of course, including those who don’t have a chance to enjoy the festive with their family members. Therefore, we initiated this project, and invite our customers to join us for the meaningful moments. All they need to do is enjoy the Christmas menu at SDS Café and collect a free gift from us, and they have helped to light up the Christmas’s happiness of orphans. We strongly encourage our customers, especially parents, to take part in this project and make a great way to show their children the joy and benefits of giving back to the community.” Ms. Denise commented.
The community project is carried out now till Christmas, which is 25 December 2022 at SDS Cafes Taman Cahaya Kota Puteri, Taman Nusantara, Desaru, Taman Johor Jaya, Taman Perling, The Mall Mid Valley Southkey, Paradigm Mall JB, AEON Mall Tebrau City, AEON Mall Kulaijaya, and AEON Mall Nilai. Customers are eligible for the free gifts hung on Christmas tree with any order of “Ho Ho Ho Chicken” or “Santa Salmon” when they are dining at SDS. While stocks last.
