The ONEderful Anniversary @ Main Place Mall, USJ 21, Subang

On 27th June 2015, I have attended cake cutting ceremony at Main Place Mall, USJ 21, Subang to celebrate their first anniversary! Happy first anniversary to Main Place Mall! :) I am really thankful that Seeties TAP has provided me a chance to join this joyful event. :)

As Main Place Mall's tagline, it is a really convenient and nice neighborhood shopping mall to visit with family as you basically can get anything you need in this mall. Unlike other shopping mall, you can find a lot of unique stores which you cannot find them anywhere else. However, you can still find Brands Outlet, Cotton On, Lovisa, Uniqlo, Caring Pharmacy, Quick Cut, The Body Shop, Watsons, Popular, Toy "R" Us, Daiso and Jaya Grocer here! Your family can shop, enjoy, dine and pamper yourselves at Main Place Mall because it simply have the stores that we all need. Besides, Main Place Mall is easily accessible via Persiaran Kewajipan and LDP.

Where have I been these few weeks? 

Enjoying to be tanned with my beloved course-mates and roommates, 

four years spent with you all are really full of bitter and sweet.

Sweet is definitely the larger part.

 Trying hard to say the best goodbye as I can. 

Okay, no more exam, no more study, no more trips, 

so I am here to continue blogging.

Chicken curry is another dish that needs skill and preparation. For a person who seldom cooks, I really could not cook a good chicken curry without help from my mum. Even she helps, I probably will still mess up the dish. :/

[Giveaway] IKAN Brand Instant Nyonya Sauce 娘惹即煮酱

I am a super lazy person when come to cooking. What I cook the most is maggi, maggi and maggi because it is the easiest one without difficult preparation process! I think I am not the only person who is lazy in cooking, there are many people who are busy working and just want a quick meal. However, we still love curry, tomyam and nyonya steamed fish which need a lot of preparation. I am lazy but I want to eat good food! HAHAHA!

But no worries, IKAN Brand has launched new series of cooking paste to allow us to skip all the difficult parts but we still can cook yummy dishes! Nyonya sauce is one of them. Like curry and tomyam, nyonya sauce also needs a lot of preparation if we want to prepare it by ourselves. Therefore this instant nyonya sauce is really convenient for lazy people (me) and busy working people.

Eau Thermale Avène Eczema workshop @ The Gardens Hotel, Mid Valley

I have learnt some basic knowledge about eczema in my course. However, I did not know how it bring negative impacts to daily lives of those affected, until I attended eczema educational workshop organized by Eau Thermale Avène in partnership with Watsons Malaysia at The Gardens Hotel, Mid Valley. For your information, eczema is a chronic inflammation of the skin that becomes extremely itchy and inflamed causing redness and swelling. It can affect infants, children and even adults. Dryness and itchiness of skin negatively influence their daily lives. 

Eau Thermale Avène Eczema workshop aims to educate consumers on understanding eczema, methods to manage it, emollient application steps using Avène emollient cream and alternative methods to scratching. A lot of mothers with their children and those who concern with eczema had attended the workshop to understand more about eczema. It has been a long time since I last attended a medical educational workshop and I was anticipated about it. :)

义工记事

最近想当义工的念头很强烈, 常常上网找相关资讯. 结果, 很巧地, 老师就说要带我们去看看 Alzheimer病患.

说实话, 上一次探访精神病患的时候, 感觉自己不够真心, 像是为了完成任务似的. 这次打从心里决定要好好地, 真心地当一次义工,可是如果真心对待的话, 离开的时候伤心是免不了的. 其实也不算什么义工啦, 就只是陪他们聊天, 玩游戏, 过一个上午.

因为只有一辆车, 老师要轮流载送, 我们是第一批到达的. 那里环境很干净明亮, 跟上次去的精神病患住的地方有所差别, 他们看起来就跟其他我遇到的公公婆婆一样, 除了一个以独特节奏说着我听不懂的话的印度Uncle.

人到齐了, 就开始活动, 我们就一个人负责一个老人. 我没有特别选择对象, 就只是看到一个婆婆旁边有空位我就坐了下来. 是缘分吧, 我很相信的缘分.

腼腆, 她给我的第一印象是腼腆. 我问她能不能说英文, 她说能. 坐她旁边的热情婆婆说我照顾的婆婆 (有点长, 从这里开始代号S婆婆)只会说英文, 而她什么都会, 英文,华文, 福建, 广东, 马来文都会. 而因为Alzheimer的关系, 热情婆婆好像忘记跟我说过这件事了, 之后重复地跟我说了好几次. 这是我没有料到的, 不对, 也不能说没料到. 虽然在课堂上已经学过这病的症状, 可是亲身面对的时候, 还是无法相信, 他们, 真的会忘记所做过的事, 所说过的话.

现在的我, 快要毕业可又还没毕业, 处在一种想放松又不太敢放松的状态, 所以就想要在学校附近找一找好玩又便宜的地方, 去玩一玩, 走一走. 住在这里将近四年, 很多地方没去过, 很多美食没吃过 (钱的问题啦,哈哈哈!). 所以, 是时候动一动脚啦!

对我来说, SS2其实算是比较熟悉的地方, 至少我可以不用GPS就能到这里. 找了点资料, 发现SS2竟然有壁画, 是我的那杯茶!看了地图, 感觉壁画地点都集中在人潮很多的店面 (对于在 Malaysia乱走, 我还是怕怕的, 所以一个人出去的时候, 我一定手拿雨伞, 所以坏人通通给我闪一边, 雨伞打人很痛的!) , 加上有免费巴士 (PJ Free Bus) 和一点小时间, 就促成了这次说走就走的SS2小出走. 这次的小出走, 还真是小, 因为我花不到两个小时就看完了, 中间还去了一趟 mini market 和 为食街.

这一幅幅后巷壁画的诞生,  归功于Bestnya Malaysiaku competition. 这些都是比赛作品哦! 美化之余, 也希望业主能更加注意后巷的美观. 其实总共有九幅壁画, 可是很搞笑的是, 我有个地方走过头, 已经提醒自己那里还有一幅, 结果到最后竟然忘记了, 所以我看到的, 只有八幅. =.=

[DIY] 当穷学生想要说谢谢

论文里的感谢词太拘谨严肃, 只是为写而写, 想要表达的谢意有太多情绪, 不适合出现在那本书里头.

能在过程中遇到这些好人, 对, 不止一个, 是很多个, 很幸运.

烧香拜佛不祈祷发大财, 只祈祷遇贵人, 就是这么一回事吧.

他们可以不用帮的, 可是他们帮了.

交上论文, 签上名字, 我闻到毕业的味道.

这次为了谢谢他们, 也和QQ买了一些零食, 要送给他们.

既然要送人, 当然要把它们包得漂漂亮亮, 不能马虎!
