As a fast food lover, I would not miss the chance to try new fast food in town. I still remember that I ate my first Texas Chicken set in KL. I totally fell in love with their signature Honey Butter Biscuit and refillable drink! I always crave for it but sadly it was not available in Johor Bahru before this. The good news is, Texas Chicken has recently made its way to the southern region of Peninsula Malaysia with the opening of its first restaurant in Johor Bahru!
This is their first branch in Johor state, which is also its 48th restaurant in the country, located in Johor Bahru's City Square Shopping Mall. Managed by local franchisee Envictus International Holdings Limited, Texas Chicken is ready to serve Johor Bahru residents alongside visitors from Singapore with its signature menu items and bold flavors. For your information, its branch is located next to KFC, level 3 of City Square Johor Bahru, which is very strategic to reach cross-border customers and also JB residents. The restaurant is expected to fit 111 guests at one time with the size of 1,123 square feet.

I really like their popular item, the all-American Honey-Butter Biscuits which are freshly baked all day long. I cannot resist the crispy outer layer and warm soft sensation within the biscuits!
Another popular item is their Spicy Chicken which is double-marinated and hand-breaded to ensure spicy deliciousness in every bite.
Besides, we got to try item from Crunchy Japaleno series, the Crunchy Japaleno wrap. I love its spicier and cheesier taste with crunchy chicken!
You would not want to miss their side dishes like cheese fries, tenders and desserts like strawberry shortcake and volcano chocolate cake. Another thing I like about Texas Chicken is their refillable drink, feel free to refill your drink!
